Caesarstone manufactured three fence product lines between 2014 and 2022, and the hardware differs materially between them. The Caesarstone Outdoor Series (2014-2018) used a 4″ x 4″ post sleeve with proprietary bracket spacing at 72″ on center; the Caesarstone Living Wall System (2018-2020) shifted to a 5″ x 5″ post with concealed fasteners; and the current Caesarstone Boundary Collection (2020-present) uses an aluminum rail-and-clip system that is not backward compatible. Check the inside face of your end post for a stamped date code and series name, or measure the post width and bracket hole pattern, 6″ or 8″ apart tells us which generation you own.

• Post lean exceeding 2 inches at the top. • White efflorescence blooming on the Caesarstone surface. Water is migrating through a failed post cap or seam seal, carrying salts from the concrete footing. Left alone, freeze-thaw (yes, even in San Jose’s mild winters) spalls the facing.
• Gate sag that no longer responds to hinge adjustment. The Caesarstone gate frame is aluminum; the hinge posts are steel. Galvanic corrosion at the contact point seizes the hinge barrel, and the frame twists under load. This one rarely ends well without full gate replacement.
